My name is Marja Stam. I was born on September 25, 1967. I'm married to Jan and have 4 children. Ever since my children were little, I enjoyed sewing clothes for them. I've also been knitting, crocheting and embroidering with great pleasure for years now.
Throughout the years, I have gained much experience and my knowledge has increasingly expanded.
On Facebook I came across an ironing aid. Unfortunately it turned out not to be available in Europe. An acquaintance of mine then ordered it in the united states for me and sent it to the Netherlands. During my contact with several dressmakers and designers, I found out that there is a lot of demand for an ironing aid. Then I started experimenting and developed the ideal ironing aid Kimberley and seam press Wendoline. To sell these, I founded the company Boutique de Couture and since December 2017 they are available in my webshop!
